WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross talks Raw 1000, Lita’s return
WWE Hall of Famer “JR” Jim Ross posted a new blog on his website talking about Raw’s 1000th episode last Monday. In it he mentions Lita and what it was like seeing her in action for the first time in six years:
“Caught up with Lita and Trish and that was really cool. Both are happy and doing well in their post WWE lives. Being happy certainly accounts for a great deal no matter who we are. The two, amazingly popular Divas and I talked about them closing a Raw broadcast which is rarified air for so many talents much less the Divas who saw, at times, significant but often times limited TV time.
Lita said she felt like she had never left Raw and being in St. Louis Monday felt natural to her. BTW all the yoga that Trish, Lita, and even DDP practice works as all those individuals really looked healthy.
As a matter of fact, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen Lita look any better. I vividly remember the day that I interviewed Lita in my Stamford, WWE office back in the day and kidded her about her “litte, shoulder tattoo” that I heard she sported. I loved her independence and the fact that she had gone to Mexico, alone, and got valuable in ring experience.”
Monday Night on Raw’s 1000th episode Lita returned to go one on one with Heath Slater in a no disqualification match! But Lita didn’t come alone, bringing the likes of APA as protection as well as a whole slew of other legends watching her back from outside the ring!
Lita defeated Heath Slater with a Twist of Fate and a moonsault showing the world she still has it!
CakeSpy.com has recently posted an interview with Amy about the upcoming baking competition Sugarslam in which she will serve as a judge. Here is an excerpt from the interview:
If you were having Pee-Wee herman and a crew of luchadores over for dessert, what would you serve? I am picturing a last supper type of image with Pee-Wee Herman where Jesus would sit (obviously). I think I would do a Smorgasbord, dessert buffet style with everyone of my favorites all over the table. That way, there is something for everyone AND adds variety to the ammunition when I yell FOOD FIGHT!!!!
